Well Dad's trip to Trinidad has been documented. They were told that Tobago could be reached from Trinidad in around twenty minutes in a speed boat. So we were more than surprised that our journey on Braemar took 9 hours ! We watched the pilot boat at sailaway fro around 25 minutes, so assumed that he was taking us all the way there ! However we just carried on sailing through the night - a mystery.
The entertainment on Sunday night was something to be seen , and I am so sorry that Lord C missed this as he could have written a book. A vi son appeared in a pink velvet jacket and a kilt of a pink hue, looking a little like Danny la Rue's younger brother. Apparently straight from the West End ( They didn't explain exactly which West End, Glasgow springs to mind !)
Anyway we had a laugh.
It's a sea day today and tomorrow and so it's a very leisurely day
All for now

Hi Julie & Dave
ReplyDeleteIf you get lost in the triangle again, see if you can spot any of the US navy planes that disappeared in 1945 – that will definitely beat our whales in the St Lawrence. Your comment on Lord C and the entertainer misses the point that Lord C doesn’t actually have to see what he blogs about.

Sounds like your entertainer lacks Danny's restraint and good taste...
ReplyDeleteTobago looks about 40 miles from Trinidad on the map, so...
Gale force winds and torrential rain here!
